Are you worried that a small budget will prevent you from starting a collection of original/indie art? Collections, by nature, are things of beauty as they are meant to be gathered over time, so don’t assume you need to immediately fill an entire wall. Use an assortment of empty and interesting frames found at yard sales and thrift stores (above) to fill the space around the few pieces of art you can afford to purchase, or use beautiful papers (below) in those frames to add the perfect color. One or two pieces of your favorite art really can be a complete collection, so start hunting for those wonderful frames today.
