There’s a wonderful thing happening in Cheltenham Township this weekend, and it’s called the Turtle Artisans Tour. What is it? Well, a bunch us of local artists got together and decided to open our studio doors to the public. And you, as the public, might be a little scared by this. Why? Well, typically we’re a messy lot when it comes to our studio space…

But don’t worry! We’ve been cleaning and organizing and tidying up so that there’s actually room to walk inside our spaces. Dogs and cats and other living things that inhabit our creative space might be gently asked to relocate (or at least to behave themselves when the visitors arrive). Some of us who tend to use the entire house as a working studio might actually consolidate to one single room for the event, much to the joy of our spouses who may tire of seeing every horizontal surface covered with projects in various stages of completion…

The mkc photography studio and all other participating artists welcome you this weekend, so if you’d like to take a little time to get to see the behind-the-scenes creativity of your neighbors, we look forward to your visit!

Please visit the tour website for more information and a detailed map of all participating artists.
