I owe a huge thank-you to my friend and fellow artist Julia who accompanied me to the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia last week and let me borrow her beautiful camera. We were experimenting with shooting digitally through our antique viewfinders, and this is what the world looks like through the lens of her vintage Hasselblad.
The sun burned bright and hot, the arboretum was lush and overflowing with life, the bees hummed happily, and we savored every hour we were there, taking breaks to rest in the shade while we planned our next destination: a perfect summer day, indeed.
